HEAT TICKET POLICIES
WARNING, WAIVER AN RELEASE OF CLAIMS: The Holder of a ticket assumes all risk incidental to the game of baseball and events held at Nettleton Stadium, whether occurring prior to, during or subsequent to the game and/or event and including specifically but not exclusively the danger of being injured by bats, balls, objects or equipment. The Holder agrees that the Great West League, the Chico Heat, the participating teams and their parent clubs, and the respective officers, agents, employees and players of the foregoing, and all other persons, including any individual, group or entity that supplies the Holder with this ticket, are not liable for injuries or property damage resulting from use of this ticket or attendance at Nettleton Stadium games and events. The Holder accordingly agrees to release and hold all of the above named persons and entities harmless from any claim for injury, damage or loss of any kind, including but not limited to the negligence of any of the released parties.
NOTICE: Tickets are a revocable license to attend the event shown. As a condition of this license, the Holders agree to comply with all rules and requirements of the ballpark. Failure to comply will result in forfeiture of this license without refund. The Holder of this ticket agrees that the Great West League, the Chico Heat, the visiting team and their respective designees may use his or her image, voice and likeness in connection with any game or event broadcast, telecast, cablecast, webcast or other media transmission as well as in any advertising or promotional use related to the game, the event and/or collegiate summer league baseball. Holder consents to all such uses without further notice, consent or compensation.
In the case of extreme weather, games may be postponed before the game's original starting time. This information will be communicated via the website, Facebook, and Twitter. At the game's original start time, the umpires will determine whether the game will be started, delayed, or postponed. All efforts will be made to play the game. If we need to cancel a game, we’ll immediately put a story on the website describing any details of when the game will be rescheduled and how to redeem your tickets. We will also update the office voicemail message to explain the weather and its effects on the game.
RAIN CHECKS: In the event of a game that does not become official (less than five innings of play) your ticket stub is your receipt for a future game, based upon availability. Postponed game tickets can be exchanged for a ticket of equal or lesser value. All exchanges must be done in person at the team’s box office. Tickets may not be exchanged for Fireworks games or any other game held in conjunction with concerts and special events at the discretion of management. All exchanges are subject to availability. All game times subject to change. All fireworks displays are subject to cancellation in the event of adverse weather conditions and no part of the purchase price will be refunded.
THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR THE PURCHASE PRICE OF TICKETS: For season ticket holders, your tickets ARE NOT eligible for exchange. Your season ticket package included all regular season home games. Any postponed game will be made up as a doubleheader and your tickets are good for both games. Tckets cannot be replaced if lost or destroyed. No refunds or exchanges. The Chico Heat reserve the right to change the date and/or starting time of the event shown on the front of the ticket, and no such change shall entitle the holder to a refund of the purchase price for this or any other Chico Heat ticket. This ticket is a revocable license and is subject to denial of admission upon refund of face value and subject to revocation and removal without compensation at management’s discretion.
NO TICKET WASTED POLICY: Have tickets you can't use? Donate them to your favorite local charity in Chico. Every ticket that is donated will be given to a family who otherwise would not be able to attend a game.
